CPY’s 2017 Golf Ball Drop

On August 6th at 3pm, Brightwood Hills Golf Course will be hosting CPY’s annual Golf Ball Drop during their own Stockyard Days Golf Tournament.  Stop by to say hello and watch it hail without risking your car’s beautiful exterior!

In case you don’t know how the drop works – you purchase tickets that correspond to a numbered golf ball.  The golf balls are then all dropped (surprise!) from above onto a putting green.  The ball closest to the hole wins up to $5,000!  If several balls end up in the hole, the prize is split among the winners.  You don’t need to be present to win.

Feeling lucky?  Get your tickets now by contacting us or stopping by Brightwood Hills on the day of the drop.  We’ll be selling tickets in person starting at 8:00 am.  Tickets are $10 each and support CPY’s continued efforts to support at-risk youth in our community.

Love Burritos? So do we!

CPY is so lucky to have such wonderful partners in the community!

On Tuesday, July 18th from 5-9pm, Chipotle in St. Anthony will be donating a portion of their sales to help CPY meet our 2017 fundraising goals!  If you love burritos (and we know you do), please stop by to take care of dinner and donating at the same time!  How’s that for efficiency?

As a reminder, you can find Chipotle St. Anthony in the St. Anthony Village Shopping Center off Silver Lake Road:

2701 39th Ave NE #128, St Anthony, MN 55421

Thanks and hope to see you there!

Ice Cream Social

CPY and Christ the King are celebrating their partnership the best way we know how – with Ice Cream!  Please join us for an ice cream social and carnival on Tuesday, July 11th from 6-8pm at Christ the King.   Here’s to 20 more years!

CPY Turns 20!

Community Partners with Youth was created in 1997 as a collaboration between the City of New Brighton, the Mounds View Public Schools, and the faith community to provide high-quality after school and summer programming for local youth, with a focus on our at-risk children.  What initially started as a program providing a safe, nurturing environment for our local youth has grown into an organization providing safety, development, opportunity, education, and experiences for over 550 children per year.

CPY is proud to be the organization it has grown into today – an integral supporter of New Brighton and Mounds View youth, assisting them in building the skills necessary for academic, personal, and spiritual achievement!  We look forward to the next 20 years and the opportunities they will bring!

We invite you to join and support us on our journey as we celebrate this year – we have several major events this year (details to follow):

  • Our Spring Luncheon (March 7th, 2017) at the New Brighton Community Center
  • Our Summer Golf Ball Drop and Carnival
  • Our Fall Gala, including dinner, entertainment, silent and live auctions!

Of course, you can always show your support for CPY’s mission at any time by making a donation!

Summer is coming…

Summer Fun starts here!
Ummm…isn’t it too early to be thinking about this?  Absolutely not! We start planning our summer months ahead of time, making sure we have a location and many of the details worked out long before spring flowers start blooming.  Summers bring some of our wildest fun, and it takes some time to make that kind of fun happen!  We’d love to have you join us, so stay tuned here as we post our plans.  Our plans for summer include programs 4days a week, Monday – Thursday from 12:00pm until 5:30pm…a great match with summer school.

Just a few of our program features:

  • Daily lunch and snack
  • Weekly field trips
  • Once-a-week trip to the splash pad or local park
  • Age-appropriate enrichment activities
  • Daily outdoor activities (as weather permits)
  • Transportation available includes, to and from home or summer school for those who live in the 55112 area *Additional fees apply.
  • Lots of flexibility!

Our “on-site” (non-field trip) days are spent doing a variety of activities such as recreational games, arts and crafts, cooking and lot of hands-on fun.  Your kids will have a blast!

There are many scholarships available for families who qualify for free/reduced lunch, so give us a call!
